FUSION 2024 Page 14Outdoor Education Report: Get Wild2024 has been another amazing year for our Outdoor Education program, Get Wild, with students embracing the opportunity to learn and grow in some of Victoria%u2019s incredible natural environments.Throughout the year, students participated in a diverse range of activities, including hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, surfing, kayaking, archery, orienteering, and so much more. These handson experiences provided students with a practical and authentic way to learn about outdoor recreation, build essential skills, and connect with the natural world.One of the most rewarding aspects of this year%u2019s program was seeing students step outside their comfort zones and tackle new challenges with confidence and determination. Whether it was navigating trails, conquering rock faces, or paddling through calm waters, students demonstrated resilience and a willingness to try new things, which was awesome to witness.A huge thank you to all the staff who generously volunteered their time to support our programs. Your dedication and expertise have been vital in making these experiences possible and safe for our students.We hope that all students who participated in Get Wild found the subject valuable and left with a greater appreciation for our incredible outdoor environments.
