Our core belief is simple yet powerful: learning can only truly flourish when a student%u2019s wellbeing is nurtured, and a healthy wellbeing is built upon positive learning outcomes. With this in mind, 2024 has been a year of purposeful action, aimed at enhancing the school%u2019s focus on community connection, student engagement, and fostering inclusivity in every aspect of school life.Focus on Wellbeing and Student EngagementThis year, our team placed a particular emphasis on creating opportunities for those students at risk of disengagement, as well as those experiencing social anxiety. Through a variety of programs and activities, we have aimed to build a sense of belonging and engagement among all students, regardless of their challenges or backgrounds.Term One kicked off with a series of impactful events. The first was the %u201cClean Up Australia%u201d initiative, where primary school students took part in a community-wide rubbish collection project. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm as they gathered waste from designated areas in the local community. The activity not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also provided a tangible lesson about the importance of sustainability, both locally and within our school.In the same term, we hosted the %u201cFood Fight%u201d event to raise funds for Food Bank. This initiative, which %u2022 Chia Yee Robertson%u2022 Lachlan Riddiford%u2022 Meg Williams%u2022 Michael Arvanitakis%u2022 Kelsey Van Ommen%u2022 Ruihong LuIn conclusion, I am filled with passion and determination as I look to the future of our school. We are proud to offer such a comprehensive educational program from 3-year-old kindergarten through to Year 12, alongside outstanding facilities, passionate teachers, a wide range of subjects, and a rich co-curricular program including performing arts, STEM, camps, excursions, and community events.We are an upward trajectory, and I very much look forward to 2025.
